KORE3 Big-Brake Conversions:

KORE3 big-brake kits are one of the most cost effective ways to put high performance, oversize disc brakes on your classic muscle car. Our kits have been designed to adapt massive 5th and/or 6th generation (C5/C6) Corvette components to the applications listed below, for maximum value and flexibility since each and every car is a custom application. KORE3 offers several levels of front big-brake kits from ø325mm [ø12.8"] to ø355mm [ø14.0"] and rears from ø305mm [ø12.0"] to ø340mm [ø13.4"]. Wheel size, vehicle purpose, and budget all factor in to what the best kit for your application may be. Contact us today if you would like to discuss your application.

KORE3 currently offers numerous big-brake kits for an ever expanding number of applications. All kits can be purchased either as individual components or in complete kit form in order to best serve our customers. Please refer to the KORE3 Big-Brake Application Chart below for relevant information and compatibility notes. If your application is not listed yet, please contact us as we are continually developing new kits.

Big brakes inherently necessitate big wheels...ø17 inches or larger in this case. Please note that not all ø17" and larger wheels will clear the calipers, particularly between the face of the caliper and the spokes of the wheel. Download the appropriate KORE3 Wheel Fitment Templates for your application and kit selection and verify wheel clearance/interference prior to ordering.

Notes
  1. GM short-spindle (forged): Use KORE3 short-spindle big-brake kit. Three (3) hardware choices depending on version of short-spindle.
  2. GM short-spindle (cast) with integral caliper mount. KORE3 does not currently offer a kit for this application.
  3. Spindle swap candidate.
  4. 1967-1969 F-body: Use KORE3 short-spindle big-brake kit.
  5. GM tall-spindle: Outer wheel bearing spindle shaft diameter (click for image) must be specified when purchasing KORE3 billet hubs: Ø.750" or Ø.844" ID bearings were both used on different variations of the GM tall-spindle.
  6. Minor irreversible spindle modifications required.
